CLUB HISTORYIn 1970, informal meetings of a group of antique airplane enthusiasts were held once a month in Carl Badgett’s hangar on Boeing Field. Carl was rebuilding a Waco 10 at the time, making it a suitable place for a get-together. The meetings were very informal, with coffee and doughnuts served alongside occasional films or slide shows. After about six months, it was decided to form a more active group and elect club officers, marking the beginning of the Puget Sound Antique Airplane Club. Present at the first meetings were: John and Wendy Amendola, Dick and Jackie Baxter, Carl and Beverly Badgett, Pete and Alice Bowers, Jim and Annamarie Dilonardo, Mark Hoskins, and Norm Landis.
